Located in South Baton Rouge and Central, Chee Chee’s playroom is a great choice for moms wanting to get out the house. They offer open play and private parties for kids. There are events for adults and kids too. When you go to a Mama Workshop, you can mingle with other moms while learning new skills or tapping into your creativity. The kids can play while you participate in the Mama Workshop.
North Sherwood Forest Community Park
This BREC park offers an indoor playground inside their recreation center. It features a tall swirling slide and an enclosed crow’s nest so the kids can get a bird’s-eye view. Benches line the playground, so you can easily keep an eye on the kids too. The recreation center includes a walking trail, a Poole table, air hockey, and exercise bikes. Bring the whole family to enjoy this outing on a rainy day.

Tumbles
Located in South Baton Rouge on Bluebonnet, Tumbles offers a unique experience for kids. They offer gym, STEAM classes, parties, camps and open play for kids, ages 4 months to 12 years. Their Tumble Zone is a screen-free indoor playground. Open Monday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and $14 for a day pass. Go enjoy the playground that’s built according to the same developmental milestones used in their gym curriculum.
Children’s Knock Knock Museum
The Knock Knock Children’s Museum is a one-of-a-kind facility designed for kids. Play is essential to a child’s growth and development, and this museum was designed with that in mind. There are so many areas for the kids to play and ignite their imagination. They have an art garden, a mock kitchen, a construction zone and fifteen other learning zones – all perfect for engaging your child’s mind and body while leading them into a love for lifelong learning.

The Play District
Located just outside of Baton Rouge, The Play District is a indoor play space in Denham Springs for kids that is available for open play, birthday parties, and memberships. This mom-owned play space is perfect for moms looking to get out of the house. It was created by a mom for moms in the Denham Springs and Baton Rouge areas! Little Town Zachary
This one for me hits close to home. Located in Zachary, just 20 minutes north of Baton Rouge, offers open play, birthday parties and memberships as well. If you need a little pick me up for the day, be sure to stop the CC’s coffee shop right next door. Enjoy some coffee and relax while the kids play.
