As a Baton Rouge newborn photographer, my work is rooted in a refined, modern aesthetic that feels both elevated and deeply personal. I’m drawn to honest color, soft light, and the quiet in between moments, the way your baby settles into your arms, the subtle glances, the feeling of everything slowing down. My approach to newborn photography in Baton Rouge is intentionally true to life, vibrant without being overwhelming, polished without losing the emotion that makes your story yours.
I often describe my work as a blend of lifestyle and film like newborn photography. It’s not overly posed, nor is it entirely hands off. Instead, I guide you just enough to create space for connection while ensuring every image feels natural and effortless. You will never be left wondering what to do, but you also will not feel placed or overly directed. The result is imagery that feels as beautiful as it is meaningful - luxury newborn photography that does not feel staged, but lived in and real.
Your experience matters just as much as your images. From the first conversation to the final gallery, I have designed every step to feel seamless and calm. I understand how tender and fleeting this season is, and I approach each session with that in mind, allowing plenty of time, moving gently, and creating an environment where you can simply be present with your baby.
My role is to take care of the details so you can settle in, feel at ease, and trust that everything is being thoughtfully handled. You do not need to prepare perfectly or perform in any way. You just need to show up, exactly as you are.
Because in the end, what you are preserving is not just how it looked, but how it felt.

The baton rouge newborn photography experience
We'll meet for an in-person reveal of your gallery and design any artwork you had in mind. If you only purchased digitals, I will send those in a downloadable link to view your gallery.
GALLERY DELIVERY day
Your session can last up to an hour and a half to allow time for mom and baby to get settled.. Please have baby fed and changed before I arrive to make the most out our time. I will take a brief tour of your home to find which room(s) has the best light for newborn photos.
session day
After booking, you'll receive a guide with session details and color palettes to help you coordinate outfits with your family. I also provide optional mood boards for styling.
SESSION PREP
You'll receive an email answering your questions with a session pricing guide. If necessary, I will give you a call you to find out what your vision is for the final outcome of your images. How do you want your family to experience the images we create together? I will then suggest the best collection for you to purchase that will achieve the vision you have for your newborn session. When you decide to book I will send you a booking link to sign your contract and pay the deposit that will go towards your session.

Baton Rouge Newborn Session Pricing Details
*Travel fees will be added to locations more than 30 minutes away.
$100 nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your session day and time. This fee covers the care and guidance that goes into styling and locations planning to create the vision you have. This fee will go towards the collection you choose.
-digital collections start at $450 and the session can last up to an hour and half
-fine art albums and wall gallery collections are available

- An in-person gallery reveal session when you purchase a fine art album or wall galleries
-For a more personalized experience for you, I only take 4-6 portrait sessions a month.
-I also have an outdoor newborn petite session available for mom, baby and kids who are 5 years or younger only

Reach out as soon as you decide you want to do newborn pictures! I only take so many newborns a month, so reach out to schedule as soon as you can.
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
After booking your session with me, I am going to send a style guide with color palettes to help you coordinate outfits with your family. I always recommend wearing what makes you feel comfortable but a light colored dress always looks flattering and gives your photos that timeless look.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
I typically come to your house to do newborn pictures. I will bring a simple newborn setup for lifestyle photographs. I also have a studio available for rent if you prefer to meet me at the studio.
what location should i choose?
I will always book your due date with the understanding that the day you give birth will give or take a few days or weeks. Once you give birth, contact me and I'll schedule your newborn pictures two weeks after the baby is born.
