Throughout the month of October, the LSU Botanical Gardens will host corn maze weekends, and these weekends are jam-packed with fall favorite acitvities that are perfect for the family. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance since tickets will not be sold at the gate. Baton Rouge General Pink Pumpkin Patch
For the last 8 years, the Baton Rouge General in the Mid City, Bluebonnet, and Ascension campuses have hosted a pumpkin patch in honor of breast cancer awareness. Pink pumpkins will pop up overnight, so bring the whole family to stop by and pick up a free pumpkin, snap some photos, and display it in honor of breast cancer awareness. Jefferson United Methodist Church hosts a pumpkin patch every year in the back of their parking lot. It’s one of their biggest fundraising projects of the year. Be sure to check out their wide selection of pumpkins throughout the month of October.
BREC’s Magnolia Mound: Museum and Historic Site Pumpkin Patch
Explore the grounds at Magnolia Mound this year while you go to their pumpkin patch. With the help of the East Baton Rouge Master Gardener volunteers, Magnolia Mounds will offer locally grown pumpkins for purchase during the fall months. Enjoy a family fun day at the Musuem to explore, pick a pumpkin, and particiate in other fall festivities.

Blackwater United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch
This pumpkin patch has been a tradition for nearly 30 years! Proceeds from this event go towards helping the church and community, so be sure to keep tabs on their website for dates and times as the fall season approaches.
